Claim your business on SatSpots
SatSpots is a map of the 29,451 places worldwide where people can pay with bitcoin. If one of them is yours, you can take control of how it appears, for free.
Your listing probably came from open data that somebody else entered, possibly years ago. That means it may have the wrong hours, an old address, or no mention of the payment methods you actually accept. You are the only person who knows what is true today.
What you get
- Correct details
- Opening hours, website and description, kept right by you rather than by whoever last edited a map. The name, address and coordinates come from OpenStreetMap and are changed there, which keeps this listing the same place as the one on every other map: tell us and we will help you get it done.
- Payment methods
- State whether you take Lightning, on-chain or both. We never guess this: where nobody has told us, the page says so.
- Photos and description
- Your own words and pictures, instead of a bare pin.
- Offers
- Publish a time-limited offer for people paying in bitcoin. It appears on your listing and expires by itself.
- Visitor numbers
- How many people saw your listing, asked for directions or opened your website. Counted without cookies and without tracking anyone.
How verification works
We email a code to a role address on your own domain, for example info@ or contact@ your website. Being able to read that address is the proof, and it takes about a minute. If your business has no email on its own domain, a person reviews the claim instead.
What we will not do
We will not sell you a better position, and there is nothing to buy that would move your confidence score: it is built from how recently your listing was confirmed and how complete its payment details are, and money cannot touch it. The owner badge says one specific thing, that someone in control of the listing manages the profile, and it does not certify your business to anyone.
We never handle bitcoin. SatSpots holds no keys, no wallets and no funds. There are no tracking cookies on this site, and your visitor numbers are counts, not profiles of the people who visited.

Good to know
What does it cost?
Nothing. Claiming your listing, correcting it, adding opening hours, photos and offers, and seeing your visitor numbers are all free.
How do you check that the business is mine?
We send a code to a role address on your own domain, for example info@ or contact@ your website. Control of that address is the proof, and it usually takes about a minute. Where a business has no email on its own domain, a person reviews the claim by hand.
What does the badge actually mean?
That someone in control of the listing manages the profile. It is not a certification of the business, and payment details stay either self-declared or from open data. We would rather the badge mean one small true thing than a large vague one.
Can I pay to rank higher or raise my score?
No, and this will not change. The confidence score is built from how recently a listing was confirmed and how complete its payment details are. If money could move it, it would stop meaning anything, and it is the only reason anyone trusts this directory.
Do you touch my bitcoin?
Never. SatSpots holds no keys, no wallets and no funds, and there is nothing here that could. It is a directory.
My business is not listed at all.
Listings come from OpenStreetMap through BTC Map, so the way onto the map is to be added there, and it flows to us automatically. Sign in and tell us and we will help you get it right.
