The ask
Walk in. Buy something small. Pay in bitcoin. Tell us whether it worked, and which rail you used. That is the whole thing, and it takes ten seconds once you are standing there.
If they will not take it, say so. That answer is as valuable as the good one and it is the one nobody collects: a directory that can only record success drifts optimistic, and that drift is why every map of this kind is useless after two years.
Why this and not a correction
Fixing an address or an opening time is worth doing, and the place to do it is OpenStreetMap, through BTC Map, who maintain this data and do it well. This is a different job. Nobody can tell from a desk whether the card machine behind the counter still accepts Lightning today, and no amount of tidying the map answers it. Only somebody who is there can.
What happens to your answer
It does not publish on your word. A payment counts once a second independent person says the same thing, or a human reviews it, and every one of those decisions is recorded permanently with who made it and on what grounds. A report that a business has closed always goes to a person first.
Nothing about you is stored beyond a keyed hash of your connection, erased after 180 days, and there is no account to create.

Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no points, no badge and no leaderboard. Verification that rewards volume is verification somebody will manufacture, so there is deliberately nothing here to win.
What happens to what I report?
Nothing publishes on your word alone. A payment counts once a second independent person says the same thing within thirty days, or a human reviews it. A closure is never published without a person looking at it first, because hiding a business that is still open does real harm.
What do you store about me?
A keyed hash of your connection, so two reports from the same place can be told apart, and it is erased after 180 days. No account, no cookies, no location history. If you offer a payment reference it is hashed immediately and never shown to anybody.
Do I have to spend money?
To produce the evidence that matters, yes, something small. You can also answer "open, but I did not try", and that is recorded honestly as what it is: proof the shop exists, not proof that paying works.
Does this go back to OpenStreetMap or BTC Map?
The listings come from OpenStreetMap through BTC Map under an open licence, and what you confirm here is kept in a form that can be offered back to them: what happened, on which day, how many independent people said it, and whether a person reviewed it. Never anything about you.
